Worst Songs of the 80s

Who knew asking my friends what they consider to be the Worst Songs of the 80s would become such a hot topic for discussion? The issue has started living and breathing on its own! The lists have been amusing...but it's the heartfelt explanations and fervent testimonials that have made me laugh out loud.

There was truly some bad music in the 80s and, evidently, I know many people for whom the 80s flashbacks are dangerous territory!

Rest assured! We will continue to swim in the shark-infested waters of 80s memories for several weeks as the date for my 40 is Fabulous 80s Prom Party draws near. There was so much bad music in the 80s, does anyone recall some good tunes? We'll soon find out!

I will post my official list of WORST 80s SONGS on this blog. But surely, as soon as I do, someone will remember another dreadful (and probably iconic) 80s tune that must be added. So, consider this list a work in progress.
